Rainwater collection and recycling

If you wince at the cost of water in South Africa and the hold your breath when you open your water bills at the end of each month, then you might want to consider an alternative solution to this. Rainwater collection is the way to go for a more affordable water solution.

Green is in. Recycling and reusing is the way to go in these modern days. Rainwater collection might be a costly first time investment but in the long term will help you save on your water bill and also create a sustainable water source. So how does it work? IT’s simple. As you can see, when the rainwater is collected by your gutters, it is then piped through the pump and filter. Once the clean, filtered water is collected in a polyethylene plastic tank, it is then available for use within your home.
